Become an Inkspire Ambassador.
Inkspire Ambassadors are young volunteers who help children discover their creativity, develop original stories, and turn their ideas into books. As an ambassador, you act as a mentor, a listener, and a creative supporter.
What Is the Inkspire Ambassador Programme?
The Inkspire Young Ambassador Programme invites passionate young people to help children aged 5–9 become authors. Ambassadors work directly with children in schools and communities, guiding them through the storytelling process and helping them bring their original ideas to life as illustrated storybooks.
What Do Ambassadors Do?
Conduct Storytelling Workshops
Ambassadors lead engaging storytelling workshops with children, creating a safe and encouraging space for them to share and develop their ideas.
Encourage Original Ideas
Ambassadors listen carefully to each child and encourage them to express their own unique stories, characters, and imagination — without directing or overwriting their ideas.
Help Develop Characters and Storylines
Ambassadors guide children through the process of building their characters, settings, and storylines, helping them shape their ideas into a complete story.
Support the Storybook Creation Process
Ambassadors support children throughout the entire process of creating their illustrated storybook — from the first idea to the finished book.
Bring Inkspire to More Schools
Ambassadors help expand Inkspire's reach by introducing the programme to new schools, communities, and young storytellers.
Ambassador Training.
All Inkspire Ambassadors have access to a dedicated training library on the Workshops & Stories page. These training videos and resources are designed to help ambassadors learn how to guide children through the storytelling process — from conducting their first workshop to supporting a child through the creation of their finished book.
